Sun Square Saturn — November 2023 

Sun Square Saturn – The Sun will square Saturn for 5x (times) while the last transits Pisces. Because this is a Square (90° degrees apart), Saturn will always be Direct when such configuration happens. 

Humanity may not be/feel satisfied today; something feels off and needs redirection. Personal’s lives are rather frustrating if one has not done the ‘work’ properly – they see the consequences of a job badly performed and don’t hesitate to say “no” or “never”. They simple aren’t seeing themselves in a good light, something must be replaced or handed over. A basic sacrifice today must be made so they are at peace, as the results will yield something eventually. 

When the dryness of the Sun meets the dryness and coldness of Saturn in a hard aspect, humanity’s sense of humour gets dense, serious and a bit dark. For a great laugh to come about, they will make fun of the president, the one in power, or, why not, of their own ordeals in life, doing so they can try to alleviate the troublesome correspondence. Some may put themselves as miserable persons, performing acts as if hell had opened on Earth and they were squared off by demons. Consequences comes, and the game becomes serious enough for everyone to try not to fall from the rope.  

Saturn will never be retrograde when the Sun squares it – Humans witness authority getting in trouble with authority. The two planets control power in their own way, while the Sun rules vitality, Saturn rules expiration – one is the giver or life and the other the reaper. It is an assurance that someone/something is “always watching” from ‘above’, making sure they are doing their tasks right, the basic things one should be doing in ‘one’s position’. Today they will learn the hard way. Some will face their fears, only to be showed that there is nothing to fear? 

They entertain themselves with drama, thrilling rides and watch the phantom of the opera. They are drama themselves if things are not as serious; commitment to the self can become quite maddening, some may prioritize themselves way too much, and will repudiate outer distractions. They want to be square with reality, kind of rebelling against their own trajectory just to see what happens, if they change or maintain the same. They poke destiny, trying to see if anyone is in there. Sometimes they will commit the same mistake just to see if the result could change, even when it cannot, but they need proof that reality is real – bordering a casual masochist. 

“Sorry, my career comes first” – they’d say to each. Many will use “career” to excuse themselves from the room. Humanity puts heavy weight on responsibilities and make them look urgent and pressing. They will try to make things look crucial in their lives, so people realize they are important somehow. Some will have career complex or a slight identity crisis at work. They will think they got the wrong ‘calling’, even when that’s not true. They may even doubt of themselves, thinking they aren’t good or fit enough. Although words such as rejection, refusals, dismissals may rule the period for the time being. Here we may see people getting late for work, for the meeting, for the responsibility etc. Or that they are taking these things way too serious to the point of being fanatical about it in an unhealthy way. They will be the first to get to the office, the first to hand the job done, the first this and that, but still the day may feel like the promotion went to somebody else. 

Humans are now motivated or challenged to improve themselves, and that will not be facile. Today they will understand that ‘results’ comes about one way or another, a reverberation of one’s own performance in the world – the hard to hear feedback that awaits future development. An opportunity to make progress in the land full of challenges, to show the world who can “triumph” even in hardest times. An opportunity to take care of the self in a very responsible way, and to face challenges with reasonable sense. 

The image I have in mind is a father and a son arguing about the future of the company. Or, a place of someone where light struggles to come in. Or, an essential project being paralyzed by someone above, or by secret ballot. Or, the reality of loneliness coming to the consciousness. Or, someone struggling to get a promotion. Or, a career plan being blocked.
