My Experience with Jupiter Return: Moving Abroad, Working Abroad; International Passport & Others Documentations
Wild Natal Jupiter in Aquarius: I do have a good Jupiter indeed, nevertheless it is out Sect, and therefore I attract much of Jupiter’s realm in the 2nd house quite contrary of perhaps how it should (?). Natal Jupiter is in terms with itself, conjunct 2nd House cusp (Placidus). It trine Venus and sextile Uranus exact by mutual reception, while both Jupiter/Venus form a Grand Trine with my MC. My natal Venus and Sun-Mars conjunction are in terms with Jupiter. Saturn, ruler of my Asc is in terms with Jupiter. So, Jupiter is very important for me, even though it rules withdrawing houses in my chart. By Secondary Progression, Jupiter is still conjunct progressed Ascendant. In 2015 when Progressed Jupiter exact conjunct my Asc, I was weighing the heaviest I’ve ever been in life.
And, I am still on my Jupiter return in Aquarius. What is/was that in my practical life?
Consider this post very personal yet educational. I am sharing things I wouldn’t normally. But my life has taken another seat since I moved abroad, and, as an eternal investigator of the mysteries of life, I cannot but to think of the astrology behind it all.
International Language Background: I have studied English since teenager, when my English teacher I cared so deeply and my mother saw the potential and then soon I began taking one-to-one classes for about 4 years. I love the language English and I always knew somehow I would belong to the world no matter my nationality. But English was always my passion, now I also study French, and in the future I intend to learn Latin, but not a priority at the moment.
International Passport: I am Brazilian, but in 2018 I had the opportunity to apply for the European passport once I officially have Portuguese and Italian background, I decided to opt for the Portuguese despite not being stronger as the Italian document, because it was cheaper and faster alternative at the time, and I remain happy with my choosing.
Mercury Primary Direction
Direction: When Mercury, reached by Primary Direction the Dsc of my chart in 2020/Jan/06. events began to unfold reasoning the whole configuration. My natal Mercury is in mutable winged Virgo, which could literally mean:
Double-Nationality: I received my passport at home in 2019/Dec/12 at 13:50. [about a month prior to the direction by Ptolemy’s key as written above]
Sister Moved to the Same City: While still in Brazil in end of 2019, my sister, which was living in another state for years, was settling down in the same city and near me and mother. Mercury rules our close siblings such as sisters.
Jupiter’s Return: Remember that many of these happenings are happening in or around my Jupiter’s Return. All of these transitions from international to national documentations brought me so many benefits that I couldn’t write it all. But I am pointing indeed to major dates.
New Game: Mercury is ruler of the 9th house of international identity. It allowed me to go further and forward, then I decided to go to and live in Liverpool with all the courage in the world I could have deposited. I sold everything I had left in Brazil. It was clear for me I was entering a new game, a new start on the board. The same way the Sun sets in the western horizon, I was setting down in another country with another kind of identity let’s put it.
Liverpool; UK & 9th House as SR Ascendant: Now, I arrived in Liverpool only in September 2020 after a great trip to Amsterdam about a year something ago (from this post writing). Also, I went to live in the same city as my older brother (Mercury).
Ptolemy’s Treatise: Worth to remember that my July Solar Return 2020 was Gemini, which ruler was Mercury, and in March 2021, I began reviewing and discussing Ptolemy’s whole treatise, when also in the SR the Profection the Asc was Aquarius, where my natal Jupiter is, the planet of publication etc. Also, Jupiter rules natal 3rd house cusp (writing).
UK’s NIN & Pre-Settle State: My SR2021 is now Virgo Asc, which is my natal 9th house. If you know astrology, you will know what I mean. The state number from the UK government arrived in 2021/Jan/10 almost exactly a year after the direction (which I even though about rectifying my chart because of such, but I need more events and dates to other angles to conclude such).
Uncle died of COVID19: Close uncle Odilon died in hospital in coma in June 2021. My Natal Jupiter is opposite Mercury. On my twins brothers charts, Pluto is transiting conjunct their natal Mercury.
What people ask me most when living abroad, especially in Liverpool while being an International Creature?
Working with the public can me charming, I enjoy them mostly as my interaction with people is usually genuine as I could tell, and not forced. People are curious creature, aren’t they?
“I love Brazil; I need to know this place”
“Why did you choose Liverpool?”
“Do you like it here? What do/did you like most?”
“We always see bad news on TV about Brazil”
“Brazilians don’t seem to take things for granted”
“Brazilian people are so nice and warm”
“I always wanted to live abroad”
“Did you come alone? Was it hard?”
“Your accent… are you Spanish? Italian? Bulgarian?”
These kinds of questions and some affirmations are almost on daily basis. People have this urge to know, the foregeing seems exotic, unknown, something to explore and be adventerous, genuine and wild about it.
People want to know what happens with others nationalities or habitants on the other side of the world which they can’t be aware of but through the news, videos, audios, natives living abroad, friend’s adventures, virtually (as you are now reading my experience) etc. Such urge to know is very curious indeed.
