Considerations
In Chapter 16 Of Disjunct (Inconjunct) Signs Ptolemy wanted you to know what happens, or, what term do we give to the Zodiac Signs that won’t Aspect each, neither won’t agree with the two major classifications of Commanding/Obeying and the Persian signs of Equal in Power, they are simple separated.
Ptolemy preferred to called these signs Alien or of the signs in Disjunction/Inconjunct, or, not looking at each other neither won’t attend to the same class. But some of these signs in Aversion won’t even have a point of rest among them, and those may be considered really Alien in the chart. I distinguished them in the table below/ahead.
Aries & Libra Axis/Signs won’t look [Aspect] at the Virgo-Pisces axis neither to the Taurus-Scorpio axis and so forth. But since Aries& Libra have a relationship to the Virgo-Pisces in both commanding and of equal power, they are not to be considered total Alien of Disjunct according to Ptolemy.
In this chapter, we can observe that the Grand Fixed Square may be alleviated by such classification of the signs, but their signs in Aversions are all in “Inconjunct” or Alien in the radix. In this way, Aries & Libra Aversion to the Virgo/Pisces axis can be alleviated, but not their Aversion to the Taurus/Scorpio axis in any way etc. Read it:

Aries | Virgo/Pisces | Libra | Virgo/Pisces |

*Disjunct/Alien Zodiac Signs to the Zodiac Sign in question |
“” Disjunct” and” Alien” are the names applied to those divisions of the zodiac which have none whatever of the aforesaid familiarities [Aspects & Agreement] with One another. These are the Ones which belong neither to the class of commanding or obeying, beholding or of equal power, and furthermore they are found to be entirely without share in the four aforesaid aspects, opposition, trine, quartile, and sextile, and are either One or five signs apart; for those which are One sign apart are as it were averted [Aversion] from One another and, though they are two, bound the angle of One, and those that are five signs apart divide the whole circle into unequal parts. While the other [traditional] aspects make an equal division of the perimeter.”
When it comes to the Zodiac signs which have no peculiarities to the other axis of the opposite sex and genre [as we have learned in the previous Chapter], it means something is not harmonious, there is a block or lack of interest to each, unless as stated, these signs in question are agreeing in some class, where there is an actual moment of consent.
