Sun Conjunct Jupiter
Sun Conjunct Jupiter
Sun Conjunct Jupiter – Because of its 1-year single sign transit of Jupiter, the Sun will never Conjunct Jupiter in the same sign after Conjunct once in its annual revolution, however, it may jump one sign to Conjunct the next, for example, the Sun will conjunct Jupiter in Taurus in 2024, but instead of conjunct Gemini in subsequent year, it will actually Conjunct Cancer instead in 2025, in Leo in 2026, in Virgo in 2027, in Libra in 2028 and so forth. The Sun will only Conjunct Jupiter in the sign of Gemini in 2036. Note: This is quite an interesting transit to observe, because of Jupiter’s nearly 12-year cycle around the Zodiac, the big planet points to a specific Zodiac sign for a period equivalent to the annual travel of the Sun’s 12 months (solar year).
Keep in mind that whenever the Sun transits for “a day” as Conjunction to other planets, it highly shines those qualities being “emitted” by them for a few days, putting them perhaps in their “best light”, in a pedestal, under the “right spot”. Thus, when the Sun encounters Jupiter on its annual path across the Zodiac signs, it illuminates humans with greater bright intuition, also shinning people’s generous and magnanimous nature, bringing forward days of true compassion, fellow feelings, empathy and solicitude. Humans now feel they can stretch their personal projects and lives even further, expanding through moving about, by decision-making, micro-management, super self-clarity, being absolute sure about it etc. It is about absolutes, the great big picture, the one and only “truth”, or, that what “truly” matters. Humanity is expanding their selves and their creations, to the extent that next year it will become phase II and so on, they will look grown, matured and more vivid. The vibe is to live life, live the best, to have fun, to laugh, to have a blast! To experience life.
Sun Conjunct Jupiter in Taurus | 2024, May 18th › at 18:45 (GMT) | 28°18’ degrees |
When the Sun points to Jupiter and asks him to become one and only, humanity wakes up optimistic, cheerful, feeling positive and perhaps overly confident and stridently hopeful. They are seeing through shinning golden rose spectacles, expecting the best outcome, and are now pre-disposed to agreements and great promises. Humans now believe things will work out on their favour and there is nothing that could do otherwise – they become highly propitious. Many of them are conjuring consciously, asking for favours from their “gods”, from higher sources, from their “guides” or guidance, they feel things now are on their side, that today they are able to or capable of, that the more on their side, the better, and more are the chances of benefic outcomes. They need to believe they are winners, some may even become over-the-top braggers, egocentric, selfish and well too self-centred, where they think that everybody is focusing on their lives and not their own, where they may think people have always eyes on them. Some ego gets inflated, while others become generous enough to lose what they have to others, perhaps thinking life one day will repay them back.
On June 2001, about three days after a Sun-Jupiter Conjunction occurred in Gemini, popular franchise movie of “The Fast and the Furious” is released (this movie reminds me so much of my teenager years, even my personal e-mail I still use nowadays have “furious” attached lol). At the day of the release, Mercury was exact conjunct Jupiter in Gemini at 24° degrees! Gemini is ruled by Mercury where both signify cars, motorbikes, transportation etc. It only took the Sun to transit the duet of Mercury-Jupiter to “premiere”, to lunch the movie out to the public as potent recognition and popularity, a powerhouse. I also think Jupiter rules blockbusters (which I will write an article on it). Another example of a blockbuster being released near the Sun-Jupiter Conjunctions, is a year prior in May 2000, a week before the Sun was Conjunct Jupiter in Taurus, the film “Gladiator” starring Joaquin Phoenix is premiered in Los Angeles, which in turn won an award for Best Picture in 2001 – Saturn was Conjunct Jupiter in Taurus, in a famous movie where the ambitious son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius ends up murdering his own father and seizes the throne. It takes the Sun to enter the same sign of Jupiter to get things to a higher level, giving it total attention to Jupiter’s transits. Another example is perhaps James Bond’s “Casino Royal” starring Daniel Craig, inspired by the 1st ever book of James Bond, premiered before a few days the Conjunction took place in Scorpio in November 2006, and the movie is about a spy (Scorpio), a hidden agent MI6 working behind the scenes – Mercury, Venus and Mars were also all in Scorpio at the day of the premiere.
Now, if we keep observing the configuration but further on the political sphere, at the exact day of the Sun-Jupiter Conjunction in Capricorn (presidents) on December 23rd 2007, the People Power Party, which supported former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, took 233 out of 480 seats in parliamentary elections, an evident rebuke to the military, which ousted Thaksin in a coup in 2006. Capricorn is all about governments and nation’s rulers, but along with its ruler Saturn, it is also about coups and mischiefs – about 4 days later the exact Conjunction in the same year, former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a suicide bombing attack in Rawalpindi – it was a Moon-Mars Cancer opposite Sun-Jupiter Capricorn day; it is known President Pervez Musharraf blamed al Qaeda, killing more 23 people. Following the same category of presidents or governor of nations, about 3 days before the exact Sun-Jupiter Conjunction took place in inclusive Aquarius in January 2009, Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States, thus the country’s first African American president. It only took the Sun to transit Aquarius coincidently on the same month of the USA’s election to advance things to another level, along with Rx Mercury, North Node and Neptune also all in Aquarius. Overall, we can notice from world-stories, how bright the Sun illuminates Jupiter’s transits when annually meeting it “face-to-face”, and when other planets are aligned with, that only do but adds more flavour/tastes, prospects and possibilities.
About five days after the exact Sun-Jupiter Conjunction in Aries took place on April 2011, France bans the wearing of full veils in public, becoming the first European nation to impose the restriction, even though covering the face is considered by some Muslims a religious obligation – there were 5 planets transiting Aries that day along with the Sun-Jupiter, those were Mercury exact Conjunction Jupiter, then Mars and Uranus, as if an initiative took place to combat separatist actions, and when ruler Mars gets involved and in terms (bounded) with Venus, “attack” on religion but target on women could be quite possible, if you are on the other side of the prospect. Now let’s talk about the configuration and weather. About two days the Sun-Jupiter in air sign of Libra perfected in 2005 at critical (29°) degrees, Hurricane Wilma became the most intense Atlantic hurricane on record with a minimum pressure of 882 mb! The ruler of the configuration was Venus of course, which in turn was Conjunct by sign intense Pluto in record breaker Sagittarius. Now, if we stretch the topic to the internet, it is well known Social media TheFacebook was lunched on February 4th, 2004, when the Sun in social Aquarius was bounded with book publisher Jupiter, making Mark Zuckerberg (about 4 years later) the world’s youngest billionaire at age 23. However, it took Jupiter to Ingress money oriented Taurus and the Sun to transit the same sign in (May 18th) 2012 for the Facebook’s initial public offering (IPO) to come about, raising $16 billion while valuing the company at $104 billion, the largest valuation to that date for a recent public company (only 8y in 2012) – at that morning, the Moon entered Taurus, activating that Stellium of Sun-Mercury-Jupiter in Taurus, and, the ruler Venus, was exact Trine Saturn.
When the Sun annually meets all the planets, it checks up how are their “heartbeats” and foretells humanity about it. Shall humanity today raise their heartbeats, amplifying sensations & awareness as well as that warming feeling of self-awareness – they know where to go, how to go there, when to go and what to do when getting there. They know there are places they still must go. If there was a mirror in front of themselves right now, they would see themselves as considerable bigger than the actual figure presents itself. Jupiter enlarges the themes of the planets it is connected with for the time being. Many are overplaying, overreacting and/or over dramatizing – they simple are in the vibe to see drama and chaos, while others are over doing it, making it seem rather one is full of oneself. They will ignore adversities, and disasters can’t happen with them in charge, so they want to believe it. Every corner they see an opportunity shinning like a sapphire being touched by the Sun’s rays at sunset, thus, troubles and setbacks are seen just like feathers that can be easily burned into nothing. Humanity is avoiding problems and difficulties, and perhaps are focusing more on the greater side of life, even those more pessimistic inclined. It’s about manipulating the truth for the benefit of oneself, to direct the light to the truth that enlightens the individual, that make things look important, essential or, to dignify, to maximize it. Many will steer up the caldron intentionally, consciously planting seeds to see it grow from far as objective events unfolding right in front of their eyes, regardless of its morality. Yet, many are observing they can be not only proud of themselves but also humble and modest.
In The Image I have in mind is someone self publicizing;
Or, someone’s luck being very apparent;
Or, someone’s personal project expanding;
Or, someone’s importance being in over-emphasis;
Or, the over-emphasis of someone’s personal needs;
Or, the glorification or fanatism towards a human/person;
Or, the glorification or fanatism towards an artistic project;
Or, the burning of suspicious legal documentations;
Or, the intensification of a hurricane/storm already in motion;
