Venus Opposite Mars — December 2024 

Venus Opposite Mars – Consider such opposition to be relatively sparse, resulting a few years of a single configuration. Only in 2050 will both planets be Direct when Venus opposes Mars. As a matter of fact, in this very century, it was only in 2018 that such happened, in the Leo-Aquarius axis, the same in the future 2050. Until then, Mars will always be Retrograde or Stationary when Venus reaches its opposingly degrees in the Zodiac. 

A very unique aspect of the stars, when the male world’s archetype meets as opposing forces the female world’s archetype, a clash of sexual symbolism. Here it is when humanity clearly perceives the differences between sexes, be it biological or behavioural. They get to experience by firsthand the dynamics of hight vs. low voice pitches, the strong bodies and thicker skin vs. the curved bodies and softer skins, the skeletal muscle vs. the distribution of body fat etc. The in between belongs perhaps to Uranus, while the merging of the two would belong to Mercury, be it centred or weighted to one side more than the other. “Who is better?” – Is that even a sensible question to ask? Today, may many humans experience the battle of the sexes, where many will show their sexist side. 

An “eclipse of Venus” let’s say it provided by Mars – Relationships are challenged, ardent passion and strong desires are aroused to extremes, humanity can see clear what they want and need in a one-to-one dynamic. You want it or you don’t, take your pick. They can pin-point what is wrong there, what needs doing in order to improve their connections to their important significant others. “Yes” or “No” – choose your answers wisely. People don’t have time for other’s people troubles, they feel perhaps they must fix what is wrong in their intimate or professional associations, so balance can be restore at some point. They want to moderate the relationship scales. 

Venus poises and Mars cuts off what there is no need to even if that will weight down on her scales, thus a difficult aspect of the stars that humans must face, which may favour them when the stars conjoin and Mars is “eclipsed” instead, then Mars has to shut up and listen to her. However, Mars is desperate to make his ends meet with you, and with others it has important connections. Venus now wants to discuss problems in the relationships that need addressing, she clearly sees where action and assertiveness need to take place in order to correct the unbalanced situation. Today may many humans learn that if the sexes won’t support each other, the result shall be disastrous, callous, offensive, destructive etc. 

Venus will ask and persuade Mars to complete her desires and longings, she will want things fair and balanced, thus if this is not the reality, chances are that frustrations, anger and irritation may be resulted – The significant other, may bring unsatisfying feeling for the other, who may be hustling to find a solution. Mars will ask Venus to get out of the comfort zone and do something if fairness she searches for. Here is when Mars fights and Venus poisons if they fight against each – which can bring about a quite intoxicating result of the stars. Nonetheless, perhaps it here when a dual of peoples are put in certain positions which demands them to assert themselves with each and end up finally balancing out the relation/connection.   

When Venus considerable sparsely encounters the opposition of Mars in the Zodiac, humans are motivated to go after their desires, be it sexual, material or simple practical. It is the year of “attract” or “chase” – humans will stablish the rule until the next opposition forms again. Yet, there will be a time where an integration or completion of Venus & Mars opposing archetypes should occur, as this is what they need and they will feel the lack in the lacune if they won’t let it happen.
