Jupiter Goes Retrograde — September/December 2023 

From the “Greater Benefic” Jupiter, planets now have longer retrogradation due to their location further in the system, always more than a hundred-day period. It’s a long cosmic waltz, a fleeting phenomenon that nudges us to reconsider our perspectives and ponder the hidden rhythms of the universe. Beneath night’s velvet tapestry, Jupiter dons its retrograde cloak, an illusion caused by the varying distances and velocities of Earth and the observed Jupiter circle in relation to the Sun. 

Prepare to re-align yourself with “higher powers”, with your inner wisdom and consumed knowledge – an inner expansion of sagacity and true understanding. Greatest things come to those who wait.

Opportunities now are inside you, the answer you seek flows high in your mind, you just need to reach it, and what an exceptional time to do it so. A chance perhaps to achieve inward growth, broadening your thinking of how far you can go based on what you have learned, through life’s experiences and learning etc.  

Prosperity & Luck is found when you look back to things you’ve achieved with your talents, as Jupiter transits Taurus – feel the immensity of the power of your inner Zeus, considering make peace with it. Even when there may be a period of inner doubt, we may take advantage of questioning life’s decisions, a reflection of someone “higher” than yourself asking if you are doing the right thing, only to find out later that perhaps you were right, even if adjustments shall be made here and there. 

A profound doubt of self-worth and value may be around Taurus and fixed signs, and this may be the genesis for many to re-organize their innermost principles, morals and social affiliations (spiritual/religious or political sides).

For everyone, perhaps Jupiter retrograde will take you to this inward journey of self-discovery, again, highly concerning about your natural abilities, how you attract others by your talents or aptness – the right time to improve them, polish or refine them, as if your “inner diamonds” needs brown rice & sage to be applied by yourself and only.

Not What You Wanted – But Exactly What You Needed 

At the moment of Jupiter’s U-turn, it will be bounded with itself, thus expect real immensity, expansion, exaggeration, overemphasis, magnification, overplaying etc. It will be big and grandiose! While then, the Moon will be almost conjunct Jupiter but still in terms with Mercury, thus expect events happening faster than we can realize and absorb at that moment, as if it was a trick from the cosmos, like “exactly when I needed it the most” kind of feeling. Remember that Uranus had just recently turned retrograde by this point, and in the same sign of Taurus where it is still at 23° degrees – things are mainly unexpected, and although ruler Venus is already direct, the Moon will be neatly square it, resulting in some frustrations at first and reconciliations seem not to be an option, yet, “exactly what you needed”.
